ABOUT THE ARTIST
Brigid Manning-Hamilton makes textile-based mixed-media artwork. She has been commissioned by houses of worship, schools, and individuals, and her work can be found in collections from New York to San Diego. Collaborating with her clients, she works within their parameters, pushing the synergy between materials and technique to give shape to their visions. Her artwork includes decorative work to please the eye; contemplative art to provide focus for thoughts or worship; and functional objects to add joy to daily life and rituals. As well as her commissioned work, she creates work on her own for exhibitions and galleries, teaches workshops, and gives talks to interested groups. |
